Living Arts Daily: Making Egg Custard

Beat 2 eggs (this is a great use for some of your blown eggs from yesterday’s egg blowing project: 1/4 cup = one large egg)


2 cups milk

¼ c sugar or honey or a few drops of stevia to taste

a pinch of salt

a dash vanilla

a sprinkle ground nutmeg


Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Whisk everything but the nutmeg together, until completely combined

Pour into 6 custard cups (you can also bake in a casserole baking dish) and sprinkle nutmeg on top

Place custard cups in baking dish and fill with water to halfway up the cups

Bake in preheated oven until set, about 1 hour

Serves 6
