Early Childhood Training Programs
LifeWays offers training and support that can open new opportunities for you—both professionally and personally. We have funds available for students with financial need. To apply, students should first apply to the training and then fill out the Financial Assistance Form on the website. LifeWays Early Childhood Certificate Program is designed for both parents and professionals. The 220 in-class hours over the course of a year are offered in various locations throughout the US (see Dates and Locations). There is also guided study with a mentor between sessions. LifeWays graduates are using what they have learned
- With their own families
- In LifeWays childcare and in-home programs
- In schools as assistant teachers, or offering parent-child, after-school and childcare programs.
The LifeWays Early Childhood Certificate Program offers 28 days of learning, inspiration and community. It provides an island of respite from your day-to-day rushed-life routine, in surroundings that foster inner transformation and the application of new knowledge and skills.
LifeWays Early Childhood Fundamentals Course, developed by long-time Waldorf early childhood teachers, combines in-person instruction with online mentoring and support over the course of the year to help new early childhood colleagues take up their work with confidence and competency.
- Choice of locations for a five-day intensive retreat
- Followed by 50 hours of online mentor-supported content and discussion throughout the year
