About LifeWays North America
What We Do
LifeWays North America provides Early Childhood Certification programs for caregivers, early childhood teachers, parents and grandparents, and parent educators. Along with trainings in the U.S., we have also helped to develop training programs in Canada, South Korea and China, with our newest partner being LifeWays America Latina based in Mexico.
Our innovative relationship-based vision for care and education, both by parents in the home and by childcare providers and teachers, is reflected in many in homes and centers throughout North America.
LifeWays Online Courses offer a variety of topics for parents and professionals to deepen home life or to transform your work with children. Continuing education units are available for professionals on most of the courses. We are collaborating with a growing number of stellar inspirational teachers offering uplifting content for personal refreshment and skill building. Some courses are available to start any time, while others have set dates to include live input from our internationally-known instructors.
LifeWays Consultants have worked with free-standing early childhood centers, as well as Waldorf and other schools planning early life centers. One of the hallmarks of LifeWays® Child Care is the family-style approach that is relationship-based and uses home as the model and life as the curriculum.
LifeWays practices are inspired by the developmental insights of Rudolf Steiner and the experience of Waldorf education and are supported by contemporary early childhood research as well as common sense and the wisdom of many generations of parents.
