Valerie Pufahl

Valerie brings extensive experience in work­ing with adolescents and families as a Wal­dorf movement teacher, wilderness guide, homeschool educator, and summer camp instructor, supporting students through group social dynamics and individual be­havioral and emotional challenges. Valerie has taught Physical Education, served as Athletic Director, and developed the current Out­door Program for the Portland Waldorf High School. Currently Valerie is the Student Assistance Coordinator at PWHS, where she is responsible for coordinating support for students with learning challeng­es and other behavioral, social or emotional needs, as well as organizing the Health and Wellness, Outdoor, Farm, and Service Learning Curriculums. Valerie completed the five-year Level I training in Spacial Dynamics in 2011 and continues to grow her movement education background through circus arts, acrobatics, meditative movement, sport, and facilitation.
