Patricia is a teacher of eurythmy in the early childhood program and lower school at the Waldorf School of Garden City in Long Island, New York. Prior to this, she concurrently taught eurythmy at Acorn Hill Kindergarten and Nursery, The Potomac Crescent Waldorf School and two home schooling groups in the Washington, D.C. area.
Raised in Philadelphia, Patricia worked in Adult education in several communities throughout Philadelphia after completing her undergraduate degree from Temple University and completing The Goethean Studies Program (now Consciousness Studies) at The Rudolf Steiner College. She became a Head Start Teacher and through this work with the children and families realized the importance of art in education and the importance of an artistic training for herself. She received her eurythmy diploma from the School of Eurythmy in Spring Valley, New York.
Patricia has also apprenticed on a biodynamic farm and just this past summer spent a month working on a biodynamic dairy farm. “Eurythmy is a wonderful thing in that we can experience that, in essence, the human being and the natural world are connected. This is so beautifully displayed in children.”
