Julie Griggs is a Registered Nurse with a diverse nursing background. She worked with Community Health in rural areas of Zambia in the Peace Corps, mainstream hospital nursing and acute care clinics. She is currently working at a Hospice Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She is also a trained Early Childhood Waldorf Teacher and taught ages 2 to 6 in Waldorf Schools for 2 years. She is trained in Spacial Dynamics and is currently involved with the Anthroposophical Nursing Training of North America. She values taking care of herself and her family and actively works with different anthroposophical home care treatments. She also enjoys building a deepening understanding of the human being through health and illness with much inspiration from the work of Rudolf Steiner.
