Creating a Joyful Life with Children
A LifeWays Conference
May 18th, 2013
Thank you for registering for a full day of connection and renewal! Here are some practical issues that you’ll need to know, and the schedule for the day is included here as well. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, please check first on our FAQs page. If your question isn’t there, then do email us at lifwaysconference@gmail.com. Can’t wait to see you there!
Location and Parking
The conference will be held just north of San Francisco, on the beautiful campus of the Marin Waldorf School, 755 Idylberry Rd, San Rafael, CA 94903. Please do not park in residential areas; participants may park in the school parking lot and on the street as long as it is on the perimeter of the school. Due to limited parking we ask that you carpool if possible.
Registration
Registration will open at 7:30am and our work together will begin at 8:30.
Workshops Update
Suzanne Down’s workshop has limited enrollment, and a $5 supplies fee is payable directly to the instructor.
Food
There are no stores or restaurants near the conference venue. A catered lunch will be available for purchase until the early registration deadline. After April 18, please bring your own lunch (best) or plan to go out. Fruit and snacks will be available for purchase onsite. Proceeds from all food purchases will go to the Marin Waldorf School 7th Grade class’s fundraising efforts.
Childcare
While there is no formal childcare available for this conference, family members are free to use the school campus during talks and workshops, and join you for lunch. Please order additional lunches for them in advance, or bring packed lunches.
Lodgings
If you are coming from out of town, there are several lodging options nearby. Please check our Location and Lodging page for links and phone numbers.
