LifeWays National Conference ~ FAQ’s

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be childcare available at the conference?

Sorry, no childcare is available for this conference, but families are welcome to be on the grounds of the school.

Can my spouse and I switch off as one of us watches our child and the other attends the talks?

Yes, that would be fine!  Be sure to order as many lunches as you’ll need (see the question about dining options, below).

What dining options are there nearby?

There are no stores or restaurants near the conference venue.  A catered lunch will be available for purchase until the early registration deadline. After April 18, please bring your own lunch (best) or plan to go out. Fruit and snacks will be available for purchase onsite. Proceeds from all food purchases will go to the Marin Waldorf School 7th Grade class’s fundraising efforts.

What is the parking situation at the conference?

Please do not park in residential areas; participants may park in the school parking lot and on the street as long as it is on the perimeter of the school. Due to limited parking we ask that you carpool if possible.

Is there a list of places to stay near the conference venue?

We have a couple of options listed under the “Location” tab, click here.

I’m an Early Childhood Educator.  Can I get Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for this conference?

Yes!  You can get a certificate of attendance for 6.5 hours.  Pick it up at the conference.

What if I register and then can’t come?  Can I get a refund?

Once you’ve registered, you can get a full refund (less a $20 processing fee) up to one week before the conference.  Less than one week before, fees are non-refundable.

Who can I contact if I have more questions?
