Creating a Season of Light Spiral — Walking a Peaceful Pathway Through Your Holiday Season November 12, 6-8pm CT

The Season of Light Spiral can be a lovely companion to your Advent or Solstice celebrations. In the often busy days of the holiday time, it can be so helpful to create a little time each day to come into the warmth, light and peace of the spiral. Lighting a candle, singing a song and taking a step day by day toward the coming of the light can bring comfort and joy to our children as they wait with anticipation for the special traditions around the solstice and Christmas time. It can easily be placed in the center of your table as your family gathers round for this time of quiet celebration. A candle lit at the center of the spiral guides the way.

The Season of Light Spiral is made with a circular piece of blue wool felt as the foundation. Through needle felting, simple embroidery and blanket stitch we will create the spiral itself, the stars that lead us day by day, and a dear friend who walks the spiral—an angel, a child or a character of your choosing.

A materials list will be released to enrollees one month prior to the workshop.
Can’t make it? Each session will be recorded and available for anyone who enrolls with a viewing window of 30 days.

Joyful Jingle Gnomes Making Gnome Magic and Merriment for Your Little Ones November 19, 6-8pm CT

These little gnomes will make magical stocking stuffers and holiday gifts! They can become dear friends to your children and help to inspire imaginative play. They fit perfectly into little hands. They are simple to make and inspire the maker to create stories, songs and little gnome poems. They have stories to tell and your children will love to listen to them and create their own as well. If you listen very closely, you can hear their jingle bell magic.

The Joyful Jingle Gnomes are made from wool felt and stand 4’ high. With very simple stitching and the addition of a wooden bead for the head, a pipe cleaner inside and a hat, your little gnome will come together very easily. They are guaranteed to bring much joy.

A materials list will be released to enrollees one month prior to the workshop.
