LifeWays Early Childhood Certificate Program is designed for both parents and professionals. The 215 in-class hours over the course of a year are offered in various locations throughout the US (see Dates and Locations). There is also guided study with a mentor between sessions. LifeWays graduates are using what they have learned

  • With their own families
  • In LifeWays childcare and in-home programs
  • In schools as assistant teachers, or offering parent-child, after-school and childcare programs.

The LifeWays Early Childhood Certificate Program offers 28 days of learning, inspiration and community. It provides an island of respite from your day-to-day rushed-life routine, in surroundings that foster inner transformation and the application of new knowledge and skills.

LifeWays Early Childhood Fundamentals Course, developed by long-time Waldorf early childhood teachers, combines in-person instruction with online mentoring and support over the course of the year to help new early childhood colleagues take up their work with confidence and competency.

  • Choice of locations for a five-day intensive retreat
  • Followed by 5 video conferences of content discussion and support throughout the year
