Directory of LifeWays Early Childhood Programs

Below you will find listings for Child Care Programs and Centers that endorse the LifeWays philosophy of child care.  Three levels of affiliation with LifeWays North America are reflected here: LifeWays Representative Member; LifeWays Trained Affiliate; and LifeWays Self-Affiliate.

Representative Members enjoy the highest level of recognition by LifeWays North America.  Their approach to working with children and families is based on concepts taught in the LifeWays^® training with particular emphasis on Rudolf Steiner's research on human development.  All primary caregivers at Representative Members sites have completed the LifeWays^® training or its equivalent or are currently enrolled in LifeWays^® training.

Trained Affiliates are individuals who have completed a recognized LifeWays^® Training.  They are striving to apply LifeWays^® Principles and Practices in their child care programs, so you can expect to find home-like programs emphasizing the Nurturing Arts and relationship-based care.   We encourage you to visit these providers and experience for yourself the many forms that LifeWays mixed-age programs can take.

Self-Affiliates are individuals or programs who have expressed an affinity with LifeWays^® Principles and Practices, but who may not have completed a recognized LifeWays^® Training.  Self-affiliation does not imply an endorsement from LifeWays North America.  We encourage you to contact the self-affiliating individuals and organizations listed below to assess how they manifest the LifeWays approach and work with LifeWays Principles and Practices.
