Working with the Four Temperaments

With Cynthia Aldinger and Acacia Moore

A Four week course beginning October 18th

Zoom Conferences Oct. 25th and Nov. 15th at 7pm Central

What’s all the buzz about the Four Temperaments? What are they, and what place do they have in early childhood care?

The four temperaments come up just about as much as any personality test these days, and they have been long referred to in Waldorf Education grades programs. Yet, they have a special use in early childhood as a tool of inner work for the adult.

Take a humorous journey through an introduction of the four temperaments with Cynthia and Acacia to learn about each temperament from how Rudolf Steiner presented it, and how they present in friendships, work life and parenting. You will have a chance to discover your own temperament make-up and how to use this knowledge for self-development that benefits all of your relationships and especially the children in your care.

**Childcare providers and early childhood teachers can earn a certificate for 12 CE hours through their active participation in, and completion of, the course by November 17, 2023.

How Will This Course Work

This course is composed of six multimedia lessons, a Four Temperaments assessment, resources, and discussion questions all based on Ruzuku (our online course platform). Lessons will be released on Wednesdays, and participants are welcomed to work at their own pace to complete each weekly lesson. The only deadline is completion of the course requirements (outlined in the first lesson) for continuing education credit on November 17th; otherwise, the course is yours for life!

Participants are also invited to join Cynthia and Acacia for two video conferences: “Getting to know you” on October 25th and a final Q&A session on November 15th.
